Thames Valley Police has released an image of a man it wants to speak to after two women were touched in the street 15 minutes apart on 24 June. How to help.

Thames Valley Police has released an image of a man it wants to speak to after two women were sexually assaulted in central Reading within about 15 minutes of each other. The force published the appeal on Monday 26 October (Thames Valley Police).

Both incidents happened on the morning of Wednesday 24 June. The force says:

  • at about 8.11am, a man approached a woman on Oxford Road, outside McDonald’s, and touched her inappropriately over her clothing
  • about 15 minutes later, the same man approached a woman on Castle Hill, outside Lightbox, and touched her inappropriately over her clothing

The image is on the force’s appeal page. The force says the man in it “may have vital information” to help the investigation. It has not said that anyone has been arrested.

PC Jacques Mitchell, the investigating officer, said: “If you recognise this man or if this is you, please get in touch.”
